Pet Puppy Contract
We require a $300 Non-refundable deposit to hold a puppy. The deposit is transferable to a different puppy if you change your mind, but will only be refunded in the event that the puppy does not pass it's vet health check or if it dies. Once the puppy is picked up or shipped, the sale is final and the puppy is covered by our guarantee .Your puppy will come to you freshly groomed and up to date on shots and deworming. Seller does not guarantee against Giardia and/or Coccidia. These are very common parasites that are often dormant in puppies and are brought out by stress such as shipping. These conditions as well as worms are easily treated and the responsibility of the new owner. The seller guarantees this dog to be free of presently known inherited defects that would make this dog unsuitable as a PET. We guarantee this puppy to be free of (Moderate/Severe Hip Displaysia, Grade 2 or 3 Patellar Luxation, Epilepsy, Sebaceous Adenitis) and eye diseases (Progressive Retinal Atrophy, Juvenile Cataracts, Juvenile Renal Disease) for the first 12 months of age. If a Veterinarian diagnoses the puppy with any of the above mentioned defects and provides a written statement to us, we shall replace the puppy, Provided there are no injuries to the pet causing the Defect.
Buyer must return the puppy with all documents and registration papers at Buyers expense for a replacement to be made.
The breeder cannot guarantee that the dog will not contract a genetic disease. Genetic diseases can be transmitted in a recessive manner, therefore the breeder cannot guarantee against it. The health guarantee does not guarantee against bellybutton hernia, dewclaws re-growth, retained testicle(s), missing or misaligned teeth.
The Buyer agrees to provide this puppy with proper vet care, diet, housing, socialization, and grooming for its entire life. Buyer also agrees to keep the puppy on a leash at all times and provide a safe and securely fenced yard for the puppy to play in. Buyer agrees to provide all appropriate vet care including Vaccinations and heartworm prevention. Buyer agrees to provide proper nutrition for the puppy. Feeding large breed puppy food and making sure the puppy is not overweight helps prevent health problems including hip problems, etc. Buyer agrees that if at ANY time in this puppy's life, he/she is unable to keep the dog, that it is returned to the Seller or lets the Seller know first that they are unable to keep it. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES shall this puppy be placed into a shelter, a pet store, placed with a rescue organization or foster care. The Seller will take the puppy back or help find him/her a new home at any time during its life.
We are not responsible for any vet bills or expenses incurred while the puppy is in the new owner's possession. All puppies are sold as pets with no promise made on showing or breeding .All Pet Puppies are sold with the agreement they will not be used for breeding under this contract. Puppies must be spayed or neutered by 9 months of age. Puppy papers will be retained by the Seller until Proof of Spay/neuter is provided. Puppy can be spayed/neutered before leaving for an additional fee of $
If puppy is bred intentionally or accidentally before it is spayed/neutered Buyer will be required to pay a fine to Seller of $2000 and will be considered to be a breach of contract.
